New Road May Be Built Soon In Cedar Falls
Cedar Falls Iowa January 3 One of the citys new improvements this year is a wagon bridge across the river above the dam and a road from the north side to connect with the Waverly road near the Ford farm. Surveys have been made and farmers north of town favor the route. It would draw many farmers to trade locally rather than in other towns. A horse slipped on icy street and died instantly. Tigers beat Janesville 60 to 13 in basketball with Midgets 33 to 10. Tigers to open schedule next Friday against West Waterloo.
