Shenandoah disaster blamed on wind and valves change
A naval court of inquiry blames a fierce windstorm and valve changes for the Shenandoah crash, noting that the crew chief’s actions were not clearly a factor and urging that exhibition flights be kept to essential naval operations to protect personnel. More than $137,000 was collected for motor license fees in Black Fork county in December. Only two checks in payment of motor license fees were returned. the rest will be honored. Collections in December 1925 amounted to six percent of the total over the 12 months from December 1, 1924, to December 2, 1925.
