Former preacher to face Mann Act charge in LA
Idris Thomas Hubert Jones, 47, ex pastor of St Barnabas in Philadelphia, was to appear for a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles on a Mann Act white slave charge. Federal agents allege he transported 39 year old Mildred Lever from Philadelphia to Los Angeles last June in an automobile. Jones, active in real estate in LA for months, was arrested by police agents.
