East Board Seeks Congestion Relief for Schools
The East School Board discussed congestion relief at last night’s meeting. A junior high plan favored by Superintendent C W Kline impressed members, but installation hinges on completion of the new high school. A new John Fiske district school is needed, and current bond issues may be inadequate. A $16,000 unforeseen cost for excavation changes raises overall outlay and signals a new bond issue will be required.
