Business Men Rally to Back YMCA Campaign in Waterloo
One hundred Waterloo business men plan to raise $10,000 for the YMCA to support January financial drive. John T. Houser, general secretary, says the pledge will push the campaign over in three days. The year’s dividends show YMCA service reaching 76,000 persons, with 1,000 soldiers aided, 770 workers placed, 650 men finding housing, 37 shop meetings, Bible classes, and youth programs including a Cedar River summer camp and swimming lessons for boys.
