Bankers League backs repeal of inheritance tax

J A Arnold of the American Bankers league says a dispatch misstated opposition to repealing the federal income tax law. The league favored repeal in June, with states allowed to levy their own taxes. 24 executives support repeal. Oregon and Iowa governors oppose. Coolidge and Mellon also favor repeal. A Iowa tax conference will discuss the subject next month.
