John Baro, 84, early Waterloo settler, died at 4 a.m. yesterday at 12 Commercial Street due to complications of age after a fall four weeks earlier. Born November 12, 1842 in Bacon near Mannheim, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1858 and moved to Waterloo in 1869. Surviving are three sisters, with burial at Calvary after services at St Mary’s Church tomorrow.
