Cedar Rapids Aug 15 L B E Sheppard president of the Order of Railway Conductors arrived after a Washington trip reporting a 35 percent wage demand for conductors. He met President Wilson about living costs and backed the Plumb plan. He said action awaits Congress and a general vote if unsatisfied.
