Hamill and Brookhart Reply to Peck Charges Over Hoover Claims
Des Moines Aug 6 Gov Hamill and Senator Brookhart attacked Peck after his bid to back Hoover and Smith. Hamill defended his stance, while Brookhart accused Peck of deflating farmer prices and noted Hoover’s wartime actions. Brookhart cited farm union documents and disputed Peck's veto claims.
