Fates of Polish Aviators Crowd Spotlight in Air News
The day brought scant details on Majors Idzkowski and Kubala who departed Paris for New York in a single motor biplane. Sightings near mid Atlantic suggested a northeast course over England after Azores, with fuel to last about 66 hours. Reports from steamers Aztec and Amakura linked a plane to Marsal Pilsudski, countering other theories amid uncertain weather.

Uncertainty Clouds Polish Sea Flight
A long clipped analysis on political forecasts for 1924 style voting patterns argues past precedents fail to predict the 1924 election turnout. It notes religion tariffs prohibition and party money shape a likely higher turnout, with Democrats financially advantaged and a possible national vote around 35 to 45 million. The piece hints at a more intense campaign than any in recent memory.
