First Baptist church to host Mother's Day service at convention
The fifth annual Iowa Business and Professional Women's clubs convention will honor Mother's Day May 11 with a church service at First Baptist led by Rev. R. B. Williamson. Miss Mary Eggert organized the service, marking a historic inclusion of a church service in the state federation program. The day includes breakfast, an automobile tour, and a banquet at Sunnyside Country Club with national president Miss Adelia Pritchard to speak.
