Waterloo couple's cross country Cadillac tour to California
Frank Bishop reports a four month, 8 000 mile auto journey with wife Mrs Bishop from Waterloo through Omaha Lincoln Denver Trinidad Albuquerque Grand Canyon to Los Angeles and back. They toured San Diego Santa Barbara and other cities, collected stones Indian artifacts and petrified wood, noting pleasant roads and a cautious crossing into Mexico before returning home to trade for a 1927 Cadillac.
