Watauga Kraut Factory Opens in Boone a New Venture
Boone residents celebrate a full scale kraut factory plant on the West End with a Fordson powered operation. The plant processes cabbage into kraut, plans fifteen thousand cans daily and markets in tin cans tubs and barrels. H. Neal Blair leads the venture with Will Winkler as salesman.
