Road Commission Buys Two Grading Machines
Mr. Carter Farthing of the county road commission said Monday that two graders have been purchased and will be delivered by the first of May. Until then little grading can be done as repairing the old machines is costly. The commission expects to start substantial road work across the county with better weather and the new equipment.

They rejected a county institute and approved lowering the treasurer's commission to two percent with further possible cuts. The school fund expects about 4000 this year with per capita distribution. Several local figures, legal aspirants, and visitors are noted along with church and school events and planned projects including a vaudeville show and plays to raise funds and books for the library.
