Attendance at State Sunday School Convention sets records
The State Sunday School Convention met in Winston-Salem April 10 11 12 and broke all past attendance records with over 1500 attendees and 1234 registered delegates including 735 from out of town. Delegates from 48 counties attended and 91 preachers 112 superintendents 480 teachers and 551 other delegates were counted. The convention approved four regional gatherings in spring 1924 and one general state convention in 1925. Officials elected included State President J B Ivey and regional presidents among others, with a long regional list of counties and districts.
