Miss Gladys Swift daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Swift Beaver Dam a student at the A T S underwent an operation for appendicitis yesterday at Watauga Hospital. She passed through the ordeal well and is resting nicely. Her parents came over and her mother will remain for a few days. One county agent exchanged 27 tons of cotton seed for nitrate of soda acid phosphate and kaiit obtaining for the seed a price of ten cents per bushel above local offers.
