Aged Man Narrowly Escapes Freight Train Collision
A 63 year old man, Mr Schneider, was struck by an engine and freight cars at the west Second street crossing of the BY and O railroad about 6 PM Tuesday. He suffered a scalp wound eight inches long and various bruises but, experts say, likely to recover if infection or pneumonia does not develop. He walked to his store before being taken home for treatment.
