W G Bennett died Sunday afternoon at his home in Bloomfield. He owned a nursery near Bloomfield and was father of Mrs T Isenogle whose husband co-owns a Coca Cola plant in the city. Mrs Isenogle was at his side at death.
The new Oakland City Methodist Episcopal church was dedicated with a homecoming week. Methodist attendees from across the state attended the event. The church cost 316,000 to build, largely funded by parishioners. Rev Frank On Heck is the pastor.
