Mrs Jennie Welch 75 widow of Thomas Welch died yesterday afternoon around 4 30 at Da county hospital after a period of frail health She lived with Mrs Theresa Keller at 101 N W First Street Funeral services set for 7 45 Thursday morning at Keller Mortuary Rev R T Gwyn to officiate The body will go to the cemetery for short rites Ed Keller will handle the funeral She was born in Holton Indiana January 75 years ago married about 50 years ago to Thomas Welch She was a daughter of Samuel and Rachel Cox A Methodist and longtime resident of Da viess county since 1922 Surviving are sisters Ella Wil Louiaville Mrs Andrew Wyatt Denver and brothers Rev Ora Cox Bedford H Cox Indianapolis James W Cox Idaho and sas R Cox Washington She was well known in Washington and left many friends.

Murder charge filed against Harold Schroeder in Indianapolis
In Indianapolis on June 25 Harold Herbert Schroeder of Mobile was charged with first degree murder by Detective Chief Frei Simon. An arson count had been filed earlier.
