Anthony & Ellis stage a double mammoth Uncle Tom's Cabin with W. H. Barlow and Lydia Yeamans. Rice's Opera then presents Iolan the with Wilkinsom, Penner, Cohan, and Ida Mule. Haverley's Mastodon Minstrls and Minnis Palmer return. Langtry appears at Ford's in An Equal Match under H. E. Abbey. Carloss' Minstrels from Philadelphia follow, with Chauncey Olcott and Lew Dockstader. George Ade's The College Widow garners praise.
