A slender woman guided Capt Anderson and officers to three insane male escapees from Howard Hospital after they evaded guards overnight. In a foggy dawn pursuit near Ballinger’s area, the fugitives were cornered in thick weeds. one surrendered, another fled toward the river but was stopped, and the third was tracked to the riverbank before being brought back to custody.
