Church's New Music at Trinity Methodist Episcopal

Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church at Fifth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue SE, the district’s oldest Methodist church, introduces a new music director, William K Cohen, after a long line of organists and conductors. The church, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, previously relied on a volunteer choir and a formal choir since 187, with notable leaders such as J Albert Shade and R R Stratton. Cohen, an experienced organist and director with a 26 year history at Old Foundry and Grace churches, will lead a quartet for Sundays, while the congregation awaits enhanced services and choral work.
