Three Fatally Injured In Wreck Near Tiffin Ohio

Three persons were fatally injured and four seriously hurt when a southbound Big Four train left the track three miles south of Tiffin Ohio. Fireman Harry Day Bellefontaine was severely scalded and injured internally. W Shragegios of Tiffin was badly cut about the head and spine. James O'Brien of Tiffin was injured internally. A relief train arrived, a farmhouse was turned into an emergency hospital, and others with minor injuries were treated locally.

Fifteen Hurt in Chicago and Alton Wreck

Fifteen persons were injured with potential fatalities after a midnight Chicago and Alton Railroad special train from Chicago to Harpers Ferry Martinsburg and Cumberland wrecked. In Harbor Grace on October 15 Bishop March, a Newfoundland Roman Catholic prelate, was shot by James Hare who is believed to be insane.
