Teachers to Be Examined for Public Schools

No Decision Reached At Arlington Insurance Convention

The thirty seventh annual convention of national insurance commissioners adjourned without a report after sessions extending past 2 a.m. The committee of fifteen failed to complete its work. deliberations will continue with a report due by November 15. More than 150 delegates attended the Arlington gathering where Henry B. F. Macfarland welcomed them and James W. Barry spoke on ongoing insurance reforms and caution in public risk. The day included talks by Thomas A. Whelan of Fidelity and Deposit Co. The group’s officers were listed and Roosevelt's White House talk was scheduled for this morning.

Woman Dies Suddenly in Northwest City

Ella Hawkins aged thirty seven of 30 street northwest died at J Emergency Hospital from internal hemorrhages after being found ill at her home about two hours earlier. She passed away early yesterday morning.
