Concrete Road Opens Reducing Trip To Baltimore

A new concrete road section from Brookland to Hyattsville opened Thursday shortening travel time to Baltimore by estimates of 16 to 30 minutes. It replaces the older route via Bladensburg, is 2 feet wide, and includes sharp turns and a bridge near Rams Horn Inn where a recent accident occurred.
