Standard Oil summoned to court over tax dodging charges

Richmond Va March 18 Judge Richardson of the Hastings court summoned the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey to court April to answer for irregularities cited by a special grand jury investigating alleged tax dodging. The jury found the company reported property valued for assessment at 67930 dollars, though it is alleged it should have been valued at 500000 dollars.
