Special to The Washington Post reports that Neill Philips, a professor of piano forte at McGill University, an Englishman aged 24, killed himself with a revolver in bed after lamenting the commercial spirit of Canada that he said stifled artistic temperament. He had held the position two years.

Ceiba Honduras March 1 Manuel Bonilla threatens to end armistice if peace delegates at Puerto Cortez do not quickly pick a provisional president candidate. He demands one of three names proposed by his peace commissioner and vows to fight if anyone tied to the Zelaya regime is chosen.
John Hays Hammond, named special Ambassador to attend King George VI's coronation next June, has rented the late Baroness Burdett-Coutts home in Piccadilly for his stay. He plans lavish entertaining and a grand fancy dress ball during his visit.
