Lawyer Gibson in Kinnan murder case testifies in Bronx inquiry
Special to The Washington Post New York June 22. Attorney Burton W Gibson for Mrs Louise Stanton and Mrs Alice Kinnan testified four hours before Assistant District Attorney Cardoza and Coroner McDonald in a sealed preliminary examination into the June 8 murder. He described his movements the night of the crime and stated his relations with the two women were cordial. Coroner McDonald said Gibson’s testimony offered no new light on who killed Mrs Kinnan, and the case hinges on statements from Mrs Kinnan’s mother. The priest inquiry into Mrs Snippo’s interview with the woman who claimed fear yielded only that she told the priest she was afraid and was advised to report to police.
