P.E. P. Co seeks 3.5 million bond issue and loan talks
Potomac Electric Power Co plans to issue 3.5 million dollars in new mortgage bonds dated July 1, twenty year term with seven percent interest to fund extensions and equipment. A national banking conference with Mellon and officials discussed a possible 40 million loan to livestock interests. Also noted are stock exchange room changes, a 3-cent dividend, and a Washington bankers’ trip to White Sulphur Springs for the District of Columbia Livestock Association meeting.
