Child Custody Dispute Ends as Judge Dismisses Petition
In a Washington court, Justice Gould dismissed the father's custody petition after affirming that a Chicago divorce decree had no jurisdiction over the boy, who has lived in this city since the separation. The ruling noted the court would not determine custody without a care for the child's welfare and left open the possibility of later action by the father if grounds arise. The boy, a second grade student at Force School, remains under his mother's care.
