On July 12 noon the new public comfort station at Thirteenth street and Pennsylvania avenue opened to the public. Throughout the day 800 visitors used the facility. A pipe joint leak delaying last week's opening was repaired. Two attendants, one per department, are on duty to assist patrons. The station is fireproof, properly ventilated, lighted, and heated.
