Fifty Dairy Dealers arraigned on pure food charges
In police court fifty local dairy dealers, totaling 109 charges, were arraigned before Judge Pugh for alleged sale of milk containing bacteria. The defense sought a bill of particulars, arguing specifics on foreign substances and quantities. prosecutors argued information would reveal no new facts. Judge Pugh granted the bill of particulars and set July 16 for further proceedings. Oyster’s milk priced higher with higher butter fat, while Simpson’s is lower fat. Hearing set for next Monday.
