Revenue stamps scattered along railroad tracks

Ten thousand dollars of U S internal revenue stamps, consigned to a distillery at Broadford, were strewn along the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad from Broadford to Connellsville yesterday when an eastbound train crushed the porch car with the stamps. Woman Struck by Train in Cumberland Tragedy

Mrs. Joseph Weaver aged sixty was fatally injured yesterday evening crossing the Baltimore and Ohio tracks near her Banning home in Cumberland. She was struck by a passenger train and hurled a considerable distance. Her daughter works as a ticket seller at Banning and her husband died three weeks ago.

Head Found On Bridge After Train Collision Mystery

A Pennsylvania Railroad bridge watchman found a severed head wedged on the north bound track and the body in the river nearby after a man reportedly crossed the bridge at night.
