Watson is a coal operator and head of Consolidation Coal Co. Chilton is a longtime Kanawha County prosecutor turned politician.
In Cleveland, Ohio, a custody dispute centers on a baby secretly substituted at birth and raised by Mrs. Weier. August Weier seeks a writ of habeas corpus as the humane society holds the child.
