A seven story building houses 200 giant Glass Enamelled Steel tanks used to age Budweiser. Each tank weighs 16 tons, runs 76 feet long and 9 feet in diameter, with total capacity of 200 000 barrels or 62 000 000 bottles. Tanks were built by The Pfaudler Co Rochester NY at over half a million dollars and took eight months to manufacture and five miles of freight cars to deliver. The brewery will outfit all tanks with this system under Anheuser Busch Brewing Assn's plan.
