Hanging of William Burge Warrant Issued for Murder
The warrant for the Hanging of William Burge colored convicted of the murder of his wife was issued yesterday by Clerk of the District Supreme Court Young. The execution is to take place next Tuesday between 12 m and 2 p m. Burge has twice been sentenced to be hanged but no further delay is expected as his counsel failed to file a bill of exceptions within thirty days after judgment.

Blame Captain for Weece Licenses Revoked in Dix Jeanie Collision
A steamboat inspection report on the November collision of the Dix and Jeanie, about 3.25 miles from Seattle, blames Captain Percy Lermond of the Dix for negligence and revokes his master and pilot license. Captain Philip Mason of the Jeanie is exonerated. The inquiry found Lermond left Dix navigation to an uncertified first officer and failed to maintain an efficient look out.

Real Estate Dealer Sues Over Clouded Title in District Court
Jacob Kirkman sues Frank T. Rawlings in the District Supreme Court for 5000 damages claiming Rawlings caused a suit through D H Roland Drury to block a sale on a $3500 debt secured by a deed of trust at 2031 A Street NW. Kirkman says he secured a purchaser for equity at 550 and that the sale yielded 4000, harming him.

Intercontinental Sued Over Stock Redemption Agreement
William S. Evans filed in the District Supreme Court against Intercontinental Correspondence University of DC to recover 31200 with one year’s interest. Evans subscribed to twelve shares at 100 each on July 18, 1905 under an agreement that if he did not elect the stock would be redeemed at year end with refund of the subscription price plus 8 percent. He tendered the stock, but the university did not honor the agreement.
