Gas Plant Sale Nears Closing Under Chicago Syndicate
A major deal to transfer control of the Washington gas plant to Chicago capitalists is nearly finished with title examination pending. The plant, installed about fifteen years ago in Southern Indiana, has been a money maker despite past price pressures. Col. John M. Woodson and others owned it. T. J. Axtell has long served as superintendent. The change will occur July 1 after title clearance and preparations. Louderbsck remains in the city handling connections.

Public highway case seeks court order to open road near Keith farm

Missing Washington man feared killed in Missouri
