Daring Hold Up by Three Tramps Near Ice Factory
Oscar Clause, a Mitchell railroad brakeman, was robbed of 8.12 dollars near the ice factory Tuesday night by three tramps. They forced him to sit on the tracks and took his money and his new shoes before fleeing toward the shops. Clause was later aided by officers Gates and Jordan and returned home. Descriptions were poor and no suspects located.

Matthewys McCracken former deputy sheriff and auditor now shipping clerk and Estalla Rink daughter of Mr and Mrs John Rink Plainville were married at eight o'clock Tuesday night by Dr C P Miles pastor of the Baptist church. They rode to the pastor's home then were married in the buggy in front of the church before returning to Cosby street home to reside. McCracken is a well known former Alfordsville teacher and deputy sheriff with many friends. Rink has lived with Washington friends for about two years and is expected to be a good wife.
