Injury proves fatal for Cannerburg youth
Thomas Dant eighteen died from a rifle wound after an accidental self inflicting shot while hunting a squirrel for his uncle. He was the son of Mrs Elizabeth Dant of the city. Funeral services were held at St Peters church Montgomery with burial in the adjacent cemetery. Dr McKittrick led an inquest Saturday night finding death caused by an accidental rifle wound in the abdomen.
