Court Adjourns For Birthday Celebrations In Circuit Court
Judge Houghton adjourned the circuit court Friday afternoon to Monday for a nation’s day celebration. A few cases remain for trial, including the $10,600 damages suit of J A Padgett as administrator of Ediral Aluster versus B and O S W for Muster’s death in an explosion. Other damage suits involve Sarah Hendrix, Waddle & Fitch, and B and O S W over embankment drainage affecting Knox county land. Judson and William Purcell on Aikman Carnahan estate faulted in judgement for $810.05 for the plaintiffs.
