Carpenters Fall From Ladder at Express Depot
Charles O'Brien, a well known carpenter, was knocked unconscious when a ladder slipped at the new U. S Express company building near the B and O depot. He was pulled from the macadam street area, carried to J. K. Morgan’s livery barn, and a physician found his injuries painful but not serious. He sustained a head impact and facial scratches while an ex soldier named Gn also fell, fracturing his left arm and wrist. Both men are badly swollen and in pain.
