Fourth death from black smallpox strikes Hudsonville family
Mrs. Dave Mink of Hudsonville died at home in Harrison township marking the fourth death in the family from the disease in a month. Foreman Andy Mink died earlier, followed by a grandson named Nunnery. A daughter who broke quarantine also died. The family, others ill, face quarantine and burial in Hudsonville cemetery tonight.

Elmer Ketchem of Elnora, a Southern Indiana railroad employee, was arrested on a circuit court bench warrant for fraudulent marriage. He allegedly married to avoid bastardy prosecution and has since refused support. Ketchem pleaded not guilty and posted 2500 bond for the June term. failing bond, him jailed.
