He said the trip showed he will listen to Iowans and that a close ongoing relationship with the people is essential. Marr Park pond near Ainsworth is to be drained to remove silt raise the dam and deepen the pond. It will be stocked with fish once work is done to curb algae and weeds and is part of Washington County parks used by picnickers and anglers.
