Total cost about 1500 dollars, to be funded from Kids Day buttons during the week of October 6. 1590 buttons sold so far. Principal Everetts and Howard Benn will bring the scoreboard from Wisconsin. installation to be finished before the October 19 home game against Fairfield.

Keota Council Opens Bids for New Library

Washington AP reports official photos show a 75 ton self-propelled cannon that can fire atomic shells accurately day or night and in any weather to at least 20 miles. It weighs 75 tons, can reach 36 mph, and was developed by Army Ordnance at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The Army says it can and will fire atomic shells, though no test firing of such shell is claimed.
