World War I Veterans Plan North English Picnic
World War I veterans will hold a potluck dinner and program at the Veterans Building in North English on Sunday September 28. The 1 p.m. meal will be followed by a program from eastern Iowa barracks and auxiliary units. A report on the Springfield Illinois national convention will be given. Sixty five barracks and 50 auxiliary units have been formed in two years with a goal of one barracks in every county by May 1959.
