Death of Warren Norton at 69 Near Haskins
Warren Norton, 69, died yesterday afternoon at his home four miles northeast of Haskins from a heart ailment after a year of poor health and a three week illness. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at L. A. Jones funeral home, with burial in Elm Grove cemetery. Norton, born Sept. 7, 1878 in Keota, lived in Washington County his entire life and farmed. He married Mabel Casperson on March 25, 1912. Surviving: wife. one son Warren Norton Jr. of Ainsworth. three daughters Madeline Humphries of Santa Ana, Geraldine Elis of San Diego, and Ruth Wheeler of Santa Ana. brothers Jed Norton of Minnesota, Art Norton of Kansas, Earnest of Davenport. sisters Mrs. Frank Lydy of Lone Tree, Mrs. Frank Kephart of Ackley, Mrs. Myrtle Koldsick of Washington.
