Edwin Reinier a 56 year old Ollie farmer and trucker was seriously injured in a two truck crash at the Packwood road intersection with Highway 78. He was taken to Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield with a broken back fractured ribs severe facial injuries and other wounds. The other driver escaped unharmed. Earl Harkness Convicted of Second Degree Murder
A jury of four men and eight women in Mount Pleasant found Earl Harkness guilty of second degree murder in the April 18 fatal shooting of Dale F. Edgington.
