A two car crash at Iowa 92 and a county road near Bridgewater left Elwin Murray 65 Massena dead and his wife hospitalized with undetermined injuries. John Holtmeyer 14 Winterset suffered a broken nose, cuts and bruises. Murray may have had a heart attack before impact. The crash occurred just inside Adair County with Murray’s car ending in Cass County between Bridgewater and Fontanelle.

City Halloween Party Planned By Local Organizations
