Heavy fighting continued around the Katanga capital as Ethiopian troops arrived to reinforce UN forces and combats surged for control of Jadotville and the post office area. Death of Mrs Wood ruled self inflicted overdose
Jessie Wood a 42 year old resident of Ainsworth died last Sunday from an overdose of sleeping medicine. County Medical Examiner Dr G E Montgomery announced the death was self inflicted after toxicology reports confirmed the cause. A suicide note was found near the body and her son Steven aged 14 discovered the death Sunday morning.
