Roy Reichert 39 of 319 Gilbert street Muscatine an employee of Iowa Electric company Cedar Rapids was electrocuted while replacing a cross arm on a pole nine miles northwest of Washington in Prairie Flower. He died instantly as another lineman reported a livewire contact. His two coworkers Everett Powell and W H Reece assisted but failed to revive him. Coroner Dr Kyle and others saw the body and no inquest was deemed necessary.
